By Cera d'Ick is a unique piece of genetics. He is the product of the Hanoverian living legend Stakkato and the phenomenal mare Fein Cera (s. Landadel). Ridden by Peter Wylde, Fein Cera won, among other things, the gold team medal at the Olympic Games in Athens and the bronze individual medal at the WEG in Jerez de la Frontera. After the Final Four she was proclaimed the best horse of the WEG. Fein Cera is out of the mare Cera (by Cor de la Bruyere), who won the Nations Cup in Aachen under Otto Becker.
By Cera d'Ick has unfortunately never been able to prove himself in the sport due to a serious accident as a young horse. Fortunately, his exceptional genes can still be used in breeding. From his (limited) first crops, several sons were already approved for BWP and Zangersheide and also in the sport, they seem to live up to the expectations. In France, his offspring made a name for themselves at the championships for young horses in Fontainebleau in 2020, where By Cera sired, amongst others, the vice-champion of the 4-year-old mares. His other descendants (first crop born in 2015) also impress time and again with their technique, power and carefulness. In 2022 these horses continued their development in a positive way. Several of them are already jumping at 1.40m-1.45m level.
