El Torreo once more in the spotlights

Bernardo Alves and El Torreo de Muze were jumping once more excellently in Zandhoven. The duo took second place in a 1.45m class and with a paltry penalty for exceeding the time allowed, they also finished sixth in the tough GP. For Levis de Muze (s. Elvis Ter Putte), there was a fifth place in a 1.45m class with Greek rider Ioli Mytilineou. Frederic Vernaet and Beijing Z (s. Bamako de Muze) jumped to a third and a fifth place in two classes 1.40m.

Among the five-year-olds in Zandhoven, Camila 111 (s. Fantomas de Muze) did not commit a single mistake with Gilles Van Hamme. Lander De Bruyn and Pina van de Moerhoeve (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) also remained clear during three days of competition. Joe Clee and Bullseye 111 Z (s. Bamako de Muze) were also quite successful.

Orage Optimus (s. Scendro) and Filippo Tabarini jumped in the spotlights in the competition for six-year-olds, as did Rubis Noir Jupiter (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) with Kelly Collard-Bovy, Lightning Mc Queen 111 Z (s. Bamako de Muze) with Joe Clee and Oakley D'axmar (s. Bamako de Muze) with Thomas Van Minnebruggen. Our Eames de Hus jumped two clear rounds as well with Bernardo Alves.

Our new addition Natkingkey SR (s. Numero Uno) took a first and a second place with the same Bernardo Alves in the classes for seven-year-olds. Thibeau Spits and Nono vd Withoeve (s. Elvis Ter Putte) stood out as well. One or more clear rounds were also achieved by Nasty Girl de Muze (s. Darco, Jordy Van Massenhove) and Nona van de Zandhoeve (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Vicky Van de Poel). Niara (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Karel Cox even won the finals.

Bonheiden

The breeding products of Stal 't Paradijs were noticed in Bonheiden. Both Pablo van 't Paradijs (s. Cera d'Ick) and Pretty Woman van 't Paradijs (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) excelled with Astrid Rooms. Among the six-year-olds we noted one or more double clear rounds for Glenn Praet with Ola van 't Bosveld (s. Scendro), Valentine De Bock with Odin van 't Merelsnest (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Elad Yaniv with Jumping Star B (s. I'm Special de Muze).

Finally, our breeding products Call Me de Muze Z (s. Clarissimo Z, Koen Vereecke) and Elle Flip de Muze Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Anneliese Prag) caught the eye in the competition for seven-year-olds with three double clear rounds in three starts, with Elle Flip de Muze also winning the final. Mara vd Bisschop (s. the way Elvis Ter Putte, Christophe Vanderhasselt) equalled three double clear rounds.

In the GP of Bonheiden Ann-Sophie De Reviere jumped to tenth place with Jade van het Groene Dak (s. Nabab de Rêve). Also for Lector vd Bisschop and Koen Vereecke, there were two clear rounds at level 1.30m-1.40m.

Prague

VDL Glasgow vh Merelsnest (s. Nabab de Rêve) was going excellently at the CSIO3* in Prague with a win in the Nations Cup and a third place in the GP with his regular rider Jur Vrieling. Heroine de Muze (s. Tinka's Boy) and Taizo Sugitani were part of the bronze Japanese team.

Namaco van 't Keldertje (s. Bamako de Muze) also jumped clear twice in the classes for six- and seven-year-olds in Prague with David Simpson, as did Presley-S (s. Elvis Ter Putte) with Jan Stetina.

Ranshofen

In Ranshofen, Napoleon C (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) showed his potential in the competition for seven-year-olds, ridden by Joana Schildknecht. Jenson (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) did the same in classes for six-year-olds with Katrin Esser.

Riesenbeck

Olympus van de Molenberg (v. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Karl Brocks jr impressed among the five- and six-year-olds in Riesenbeck with two victories and a sixth place. Also Jikke-Cara (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) stayed clear over three days of competition with Harrie Wiering.

In the seven-year-olds Baron Z (s. Bamako de Muze) and Tobias Meyer stood out with two second places. New Life van het Hellehof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) showed his great shape with Thibault Philippaerts.

Gijon

Luis Jesus Escobar and I'm Special The One AK (v. I'm Special de Muze) took two second places and a fourth place among the six- and seven-year-olds in Gijon, Spain. Alejandro Fernandez Sanchez and Olito Etc. (v. Malito de Rêve) also scored a clear round.

St. Tropez

Evelina Tovek finished fourth with Dalila de la Pomme (s. Taran de la Pomme) in a 1.45m-class in St. Tropez. Olivier Robert and Eros (s. Querlybet Hero) added a fourth place in a 1.50m class.

Wierden

In Wierden, Gerben Morsink and Navarone Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) finished fourth in a 1.45m class and second in the GP. Megan Laseur and the only eight-year-old Humbertha (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) came second in a 1.40m class.

STX Cycle

We also take a look at the last cycle manche of this shortened edition, that went through in Basècles. Christophe De Brabander and our five-year-old stallion Jardy de Muze signed again for a nice clear round.

In the class for six-year-olds, Bert Panneels jumped to second place with Ogina vd Bisschop (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Christof Deraedt and Oilily van 't Smisveld (s. Scendro) ended sixth. Koenraad Bauters and Otella van de Meerse (s. Bamako de Muze) finished in eighth place.

Jean-Christophe De Grande and Naturele van het Reigershof (v. I'm Special de Muze) took home the victory in the competition for seven-year-olds, ahead of Tom Verduyn on Nueva Epoca de Regor (v. Nabab de Rêve). Jelle Limbourg and Hunger Games du Champ du Bois (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished at nine.

Varia

To close-off this news bulletin, we highlight the victory of Nestor (s. I'm Special de Muze) and Wouter De Cleene at the Belgian Championship for seven-year-old eventing horses.
