Triumph for Kasanova in Wiesbaden

What a blast for Koen and Kasanova in Wiesbaden. They overwhelmingly won the GP4*. Incidentally, this made them the first Belgian duo in the 86-year history of the prestigious competition to do so. Koen was in great form anyway, as he also came second in the 1.55m class on Sunday and fourth in a 1.45m class on Saturday, both with Oilily de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).

Also, in the GP, Jos Verlooy and Origi (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) finished ninth. There was also a second place for Daniel Deusser and Ellabelle de Rie Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) over 1.50m. Emilie Conter equalled that result in another class riding Portobella van de Fruitkorf (s. Bamako de Muze). Mathias Nørheden Johansen and Ippolito (s. I'm Special de Muze) grabbed fifth place in the same class after previously winning in a 1.40m class. Johanna Beckmann also won at 1.40m level on Noblesse Z (s. Nabab de Rêve).

Bourg-en-Bresse

Steve Guerdat came close to victory in the GP4* of Bourg-en-Bresse. Riding Iashin Sitte (s. Bamako de Muze), he eventually took the closest place of honour. Pius Schwizer and Scarlina de Tiji Z (s. Scendro) won their sixth international class this year, this time over 1.50m. Philippe Rozier came fifth in the same class with Le Coultre de Muze (s. Presley Boy). Julien Gonin and Girl Queen du Forezan (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) finished fourth in a 1.40m class.

Martofte

In Martofte, Pål Flam was successful riding Omonza D C (s. Elvis Ter Putte). They won the Nations Cup as part of the Norwegian team and came sixth in the GP. Gerben Morsink was on seven with Navarone Z (s. Nabab de Rêve). The Belgian team, with a clear round by Thibault Philippaerts on Obama de la Linière (s. Marius Claudius), finished fourth. The Netherlands took fifth place thanks to a clear round by Morsink and Navarone Z. In a 1.50m class, Zascha Nygaard Lill finished fifth on Nikita du Roton (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Over 1.40m there was a win for Tina Lund and Ionesco Sitte (s. Scendro).

Lummen

In Lummen we recorded a string of places of honour in 1.40m classes for, among others, Qoreen van ‘t Ruytershof (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) with Nick Vrins, Elcup Van Beek II Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) with Sacha Beghuin, Quel Torreo T (s. El Torreo de Muze) with Kim Thiry and No Limit Vh Legita Hof Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) with Aurelia Guisson. No Limit is the half-sister of our stallion Tellini van ‘t Ruytershof.

Busto Arsizio

At the Youth Competition in Busto Arsizio, Davide Vitale came fourth in the GP for Young Riders (1.45m) with Lester (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Earlier, they also finished fifth in a 1.45m class. Noah Pfyffer Von Altishofen finished fifth in the juniors’ 1.40m competition with Olympic van het Merrethof (s. Kasanova de la Pomme).

Kronenberg

Kivinia (s. I'm Special de Muze) won a 1.50m class under Bas Moerings in Kronenberg. In the GP1*, Meshari Alharbi came sixth on Hi There (s. Nabab de Rêve). Vani Khosla and Nerio de la Haute Bruyeres (s. Elvis Ter Putte) grabbed place eight.

Other

Sloane Coles and Ninja JW van de Moerhoeve (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished third in the Lexington GP3*. Ninja JW is from the same dam line as our young stallion Vinardo de Muze (s. Chacco-Blue). Manuel Gonzalez Dufrane and Martialis (ex-Martialis van ‘t Merelsnest, s. Nabab de Rêve) were the best over 1.50m in Guadalajara. In a 1.45m class in North Salem, Alex Matz came fourth on Ikigai (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

At the various two-star competitions, there were places of honour in GPs for I'm Special The One AK (s. I'm Special de Muze, William Walker - Balmoral) and King Kong van ‘t Valissenhof (s. Fantomas de Muze, Filippa Enmark - Bonheiden). At 1.40m level, Andrea Herck jumped into the spotlight with Kalvarie van de Zelm (s. Nabab de Rêve) in Budapest. William Whitaker did the same in Wellington, Heckfield riding Active Spirit (ex-Plathina van ‘t Ruytershof, s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).
