If you look up the name Tellini on Wikipedia, you end up with an Italian general or an Italian screenwriter. If it were up to us, the name Tellini van 't Ruytershof would soon be added. This promising 3-year-old grey stallion was approved by the SBS early in 2022 with flying colours. At the approvals he excelled with his power, reflexes and scope. He did the same during his performances in the Lannoo Stallion Competition and the STX Cycle.

These qualities do not come as a surprise if you take a closer look at his pedigree. His still young sire Pegase van 't Ruytershof became champion at the BWP stallion selection as a 3-year-old and impressed as a young horse in the Belgian stallion competition. At least as impressive is Tellini's dam line. First dam Berlini From Second Life Z (s. Berlin) was herself active at 1.45m level with the Belgian junior rider Aurelia Guisson and also gave birth to No Limit vh Legita Hof Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) with whom the same Aurelia Guisson became Belgian Junior champion in 2021. The dam's line goes further back to the mare Cette Mona Z (s. Carthago Z). This Cette Mona is full sister to the well-known mare Carte Blanche Z. This is the dam line of, amongst others, the GP-horses Hardrock Z and Charlemagne JT Z.

Tellini comes from a good family and already convinced us with his jumping qualities. We have no doubt that he will also charm the breeders. His first crop was born last year.
