El Torreo and Elvis youngsters shine bright

The various competitions under the Iberian spring sun always offer a platform for a whole bunch of young horses. This week we focus on the offspring of Elvis Ter Putte and El Torreo de Muze that stood out.

In Valencia, the 5-year-old El Star van 't Ameldonk Z (Andrew Saether) and the 6-year-old El Future van 't Ameldonk Z (Demi van Andel) delivered excellent publicity for their sire El Torreo de Muze. A little further down the road, in Vilamoura, it was Fulldollar De Raygade's turn to leave a great impression in the 6-year-olds competition.

The sons and daughters of Elvis Ter Putte continue to confirm as well. Irish du Caillou (7-year-olds, Letizia Malfanti), Loverboy B (5-year-olds, Stephi De Boer) scored in Oliva. Mathias Hazebroek did the same with Oliano G in the 7-year-olds in Lier and Rodrigo Bass with In and Out DB in Valencia.

Oliva, Valencia & Vejer de la Frontera

Koen Vereecke and our breeding product Call Me de Muze Z (s. Clarissimo Z) took fifth place in the GP1* of Oliva.

In Valencia, Bart Jay Junior Vandecasteele won a 1.40m class with Esprit de l'Esprit Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

In Vejer de la Frontera, Pieter Clemens took eighth place with Icarus (s. Querlybet Hero) in the GP. There was a win for Morton van 't Merelsnest (s. Nabab de Rêve) and Richard Vogel over 1.45m. In the same class Alexander Butler finished fourth with Gaston d'Ecaussinnes (s. Malito de Rêve). Wilm Vermeir and N-Joy van 't Hellewater (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished third in a 1.40m class.

Ornago & Vilamoura

Place two in the GP2* of Ornago went to Harry Allen on Guinness (s. Nabab de Rêve). In the GP of Vilamoura, fourth place went to Romain Dreyfus and Fernando van het Posthuis (s. Nabab de Rêve).

Bravo Bellissimo Z (s. Bamako de Muze)! Ashley Vogel and her 12-year-old mare took third place in the GPU25 and added a second place in a 1.45m class. Chic Hin d'Hyrencourt (s. Taran de la Pomme) and Beezie Madden became sixth in the GP3* of Wellington.

A tough GP in Lier still yielded a second place for the only 9-year-old Naturelle vh Legitahof Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) and Tristan Guisson. This combination also took a fifth place at 1.40m level. Nirvana de la Pomme (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Joris Vergauwen finished third in that same 1.40m class, No Limit vh Legita Hof Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) and Aurelia Guisson ended sixth. Frederic Vernaet and Beijing Z (s. Bamako de Muze) also took third place at that height.

In Royan, France, the 17-year-old Eros (s. Querlybet Hero) shone with Olivier Robert. The duo won a 1.40m class and finished third at the same height as well. Elize (s. Bamako de Muze) and Aymeric de Ponnat also made a good impression with a third place in the 1.45m class and a second place in the GP. In the latter class, Alexis Deroubaix and Kitona de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) were fourth.

Good news also from the eventing front. Next Level Leipheimer ES (s. Leipheimer van 't Verahof) has been selected for the NRPS Stallion Show as a potential eventing sire.
