Bamako and Elvis offspring make a move at BC young horses

Six-year-olds

The offspring of our stallions showed their great potential at the BK for six and seven-year-olds in Opglabbeek. Best of the pack in the competition for six-year-olds was Opaline vd Bisschop (s. Bamako de Muze) who became seventh with Arnaud Gaublomme. Further on in the final we also saw Orchidee vd Bisschop (s. El Torreo de Muze, Wim Aegten) and Carioca (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Charlotte Philippe).

Among the seven-year-olds, the best performance was for No Limit Vh Legita Hof Z (s. Nabab de Rêve), who finished in eighth place with Tristan Guisson. Thibaut Huyvaert and Babou de Laubry Z (s. Bamako de Muze) took the tenth spot. Also Echo van Spalbeek Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Alexander Liefsoens), Napoli van 't Klavertje Vier (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles, Marijn Poelmans), Nora de Mariposa (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Loris Berrittella), Bling vd Duvelshoeve Z (s. Bamako de Muze, Stijn Timmerman), New Star Quality (s. Nabab de Rêve, Caroline De Laet), Naturele van het Reigershof (s. I'm Special de Muze, Jean-Christophe De Grande), Elnica CL Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Alexander Liefsoens) and Nikita van de Koekelberg (s. Filou de Muze, Steven Vermeir) were present in the finals.

Valkenswaard

At the GCT/GCL in Valkenswaard, Jur Vrieling and VDL Glasgow vh Merelsnest (s. Nabab de Rêve) took a fifth place over 1.55m. In the GP2* there was a third place for Olivier Philippaerts and our stallion Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof. Gerben Morsink and Navarone Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) won a 1.45m class.

In the classes for six and seven-year-olds Wilm Vermeir jumped with N-Joy van 't Hellewater (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Also Harrie Smolders with Nixon van 't Meulenhof (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) and Pieter Devos with Nikias Ligie V.V. (s. I'm Special de Muze) showed beautiful things.

Bonheiden

In Bonheiden, Bernardo Alves took second place with our only eight year old stallion Matisse de Mariposa in a 1.40m class. One of our other young stars, Eames de Hus, made his mark in the six-year-olds with a sixth place in the final.

In the young horse classes, our breeding product Palmiro de Muze (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) jumped two clear rounds with Tatiana Troiani in the five year olds. One age category higher, I'am PP Z (s. I'm Special de Muze) did the same with Alisa Danilova, as did Optimist van de Meerbeek (s. Bamako de Muze) with Vincent Lambrecht. Among the seven-year-olds it was up to Nadal du Coeur des Collines (s. Nabab de Rêve, Benny Naessens), Nestor de Mariposa (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Jérôme Guery) and Noran van 't Merelsnest (s. Nabab de Rêve, Jelle Hoorens) to take care of the clear rounds and these combinations did an excellent job.

Kronenberg

Even more young horse power in Kronenberg, where Kai Thomann on Viper Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Isabelle Gerfer on Victorien Initials BB Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) recorded two double clear rounds among the five- and six-year-olds. For Loic Cannaert and Vicenza Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) there was one double clear round. Leon Thijssen and Ibiza Z (s. I'm Special de Muze) jumped very well in the competition for seven-year-olds, just like Alexander Butler on Filounus PS (s. Filou de Muze).

A second place in a 1.40m class was the result for Richard Vogel and Morton van 't Merelsnest (s. Nabab de Rêve). For Alexander Butler and Gaston d'Ecaussinnes (s. Malito de Rêve) there was a victory in another class at the same height.

Vejer de la Frontera

Kara Chad and Firefly W (s. Nabab de Rêve) won yet another 1.40m class, this time under the Spanish sun in Vejer de la Frontera. In the classes for six-year-olds, Mariano Martinez Bastida and Sisse de Tiji Z (s. Scendro) had a clear round.

Paderborn

It was also the turn of the Bamako offspring in Paderborn, where both Baron Z (Tobias Meyer) and Boomer (Cassandra Orschel) were able to add a clear round to their record of achievements.

Varia

We also mention the third place of Thibaut Bollen on Me 2 By Cavalor (s. Elvis Ter Putte) in the GPU25 in Lamprechtshausen. Steve Guerdat and Tum Play du Jouas (s. Querlybet Hero) also took third place, but in a class 1.45m in St. Tropez.

Fasther (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Lillie Keenan jumped to silver in the American Gold Cup in Traverse City.

At the CSI1* in Esposende the Portuguese rider Hugo Carvalho was successful with Extraordiner (s. Nabab de Rêve) with, among other things, a fifth place in the GP.
