Magnificent Le Coultre de Muze

Since Julien Epaillard took over the reins, there’s been no stopping them. Le Coultre de Muze has been racking up one top placing after another. Last weekend, they finished second in the GP4* at Cabourg and won a 1.50m class. Baron-RR Z (s. Bamako de Muze) also impressed with a fifth place over 1.50m ridden by Gudrun Patteet. Dayro Arroyave took second place at 1.40m level riding Malicia du Chabus (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof). In the same class, Petronella Andersson finished fifth with Elégance Bleue VDM Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

Rome

The home team from Italy finished fourth in the Nations Cup at the CSIO5* in Rome, thanks in part to impressive performances by Giacomo Casadei on Marbella du Chabli (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Giampiero Garofalo on Querido van ’t Ruytershof (s. Mosito van het Hellehof). Belgium finished fifth with Emilie Conter and Portobella van de Fruitkorf (s. Bamako de Muze) in the line-up. Denis Lynch had Brooklyn Heights (ex-Jorden van de Kruishoeve, s. Nabab de Rêve) jumping well, securing fifth place in a 1.50m class. Christian Ahlmann finished second over 1.45m riding Vivario JL Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles).

Kessel

Bas Moerings and Kivinia raced to second place in a 1.50m class at JPM International with Kivinia (s. I’m Special de Muze). At 1.40m level, Nunblisther (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles, Bas Moerings) and Barones de Jolie Z (s. Bamako de Muze, Willem Greve) caught the eye. Tamara Klop won the GP1* riding Happy Handsome (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

Mill Spring

In the GP3* at Mill Spring, Luis Sabino Gonçalves finished eighth with Scoop de Septon Z (s. Scendro). Luis Pedro Biraben came tenth on Vasco 109 (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Kelli Cruciotti Vanderveen shone with the 8-year-old Gabriel (s. I’m Special de Muze). This pair won a 1.40m class and finished fourth over 1.45m.

St. Tropez

Bart Jay Junior Vandecasteele finished second in a 1.45m class in St. Tropez riding Lotti Blue (s. Le Blue Diamond van ’t Ruytershof). In fifth place in the same class was Victor Bettendorf on Doha de Riverland (s. Nabab de Rêve). João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes De Lima rode Sagan Z (s. Scendro) to third place at 1.40m level.

Bonheiden

The GP2* at Bonheiden was won by Louis Le Grelle and New Life van het Hellehof (s. Elvis Ter Putte). We also noted a second place for Daniel Fitzgerald with Obsession DV (s. Scendro) over 1.40m.

Lerma

We conclude in Lerma, Mexico, where Jorge Manuel Fernandez Del Puerto made a name for himself with Mirenco van ’t Kieveld (s. Nabab de Rêve), as did Alberto Sanchez-Cozar on Excalibur Rumel (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Rafael Rodriguez Isasa on Sancho de Jeval (s. Bamako de Muze).
