Kasanova impresses in Oliva

Oliva

Too bad that the competition season is almost over, as Kasanova proved to be in top form last weekend. The ten-year-old son of Bamako de Muze took the bronze in Oliva's GP and also jumped to sixth place in the ranking class on Thursday. In that last class there was a third place for Charlotte Bettendorf and Nababette Z (s. Nabab de Rêve). Alexander Butler and Gaston d'Ecaussinnes (s. Malito de Rêve) were placed twice at level 1.40m.

Among the young horses, Orage Optimus (s. Scendro) was again successful with Filippo Tabarini in the saddle. The combination did not make any mistakes in three days of competition for 6-year-olds.

Barroca d'Alva

What a return also for Karin Donckers after her injury. At the CCI4*-S in Barroca d'Alva, Portugal, she immediately occupied the first two places in the final standings. She won with Fletcha van 't Verahof (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). She came second with our stallion Leipheimer van 't Verahof, of course full brother to Fletcha.

Opglabbeek

As in Oliva, Scendro's offspring equally stood out in Opglabbeek. Sensei Z (s. Scendro) and Axel Vandoorne won the final for 6-year-olds. Ocean van 't Paradijs (s. Bamako de Muze, Astrid Rooms), Eagle Eye Birdavenue Z (s. El Torreo de Muze, Nando De Miranda), Olilia vd Bisschop (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Iashin Sitte (s. Bamako de Muze, Catherine Gustin) also performed very well in this age category.

Among the 5-year-olds there were clear rounds for Pablo van 't Paradijs (s. Cera d'Ick, Astrid Rooms), Pretty Woman van 't Paradijs (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Positif van 't Paradijs (s. Bamako de Muze, Charlotte Rooms).

Finally, in the categories for 7- and 8-year-olds, Juri Sokolovski took fourth place in the final with I'm Viva la Resistence (s. I'm Special de Muze). Tim Prouvé (Nike Prova, s. Elvis Ter Putte), Simon Prouvé (Milow Prova, s. Nabab de Rêve), Therese Søhol Henriksen (Ninja JW van de Moerhoeve, s. Elvis Ter Putte), Anna Hästbacka (Ici Molga D, s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) and Wilm Vermeir (N-Joy van 't Hellewater, s. Elvis Ter Putte) also showed their potential in these classes.

Other

In the GP2* of Barcelona, there was a second place for Olivier Robert and the now 16-year-old Eros (s. Querlybet Hero). Among the young horses in Ornago, Marco Della Valle recorded two clear rounds with Diamant (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
