Lector's streak

Since 1 May this year, Lector has started in 14 international classes of at least three-star level. Twelve times he finished in the top eight of the respective class, noting that the only two times he was not at the front were warm-up classes (in which he did not make a single jumping fault either). An improbable streak from Lector and Koen, with highlights of course being wins in the GP5* and the Nations Cup at Sopot. They gathered almost EUR 100,000 in prize money this year alone.

Last weekend, they were in front again in the GP3* of Ommen. They finished fourth. Earlier, they also grabbed eighth place in a 1.55m class and sixth place in a 1.50m class.

New and also not new is Negredo de Muze. This 10-year-old son of Elvis Ter Putte out of Michael Whitaker's former GP mare Portofino (s. Habsburg) is back and will be seen in the (top)sport under Koen’s saddle. In Ommen, they already started well, including third place in a 1.45m class.

Also in Ommen, Gerben Morsink took sixth place in the GP riding Navarone Z (s. Nabab de Rêve). Eric Ten Cate came fourth in a 1.40m class on Nada van Spieveld (s. Elvis Ter Putte). In the GP1*, Denny Olde Agterhuis finished in fifth place with Fairwings (s. Nabab de Rêve).

Valkenswaard

Kevin Jochems and Flying Jackie (s. Nabab de Rêve) finished fourth in the 1.50m in the grass arena of the Longines Tops International Arena. In the GP, Jack Ryan jumped into the spotlight riding Eagle vd Wolfsakker Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Petronella Andersson and Ollister du Lys (s. Scendro) were placed in the 1.40m classes.

Calgary

There was a win for Tiffany Foster and Battlecry (ex-Olympus van de Molenberg, s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) in a 1.55m class at Spruce Meadows. The GP5* yielded a tenth place for Lillie Keenan and Fasther (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).

Royan

In Royan, France, Romain Moresve grabbed third place in a ranking class with Eup and Go du Lavoir (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Marie Demonte and Feticheur Riverland (s. I'm Special de Muze) achieved fifth place over 1.40m.

San Giovanni in Marignano

Finally, on Italian soil, Martina Lain raced to tenth place in the GP2* of San Giovanni in Marignano. For this she had saddled Nestor (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
