Bamako son wins Oliva GP

Pecorino de la Linière, an only 9-year-old son of Bamako, won the GP3* at Oliva last weekend under Virginie Thonon. Pecorino is bred out of the mare Litchi de la Linière (s. Filou de Muze). The grandmother is Heroine de Muze (s. Tinka's Boy). Karel Cox finished eighth on Viva La Vida Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).

Jérôme Guery and Great Britain V (s. Nabab de Rêve) rushed to victory in a ranking class. Giavanna Rinaldi and Private Dancer van 't Meulenhof (s. Gemini xx) closed in on spot five. In the 1.40m classes, there were wins and/or placings for Jyrado vh Bovenhoekshof (s. By Cera d'Ick, Jérôme Guery) and Prada de la Linière (s. Fantomas de Muze, Aida Hämäläinen). The latter is a half-sister of our stallions Obama de la Linière and True Colors de la Linière. In the GP1*, silver went to Clem McMahon on Grand Prix DK (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Ludo Philippaerts rode Nobel van de Vrombautshoeve Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) to fourth place.

Vejer de la Frontera

A little further down the road, at the Sunshine Tour, Andres Vereecke raced to victory in a 1.50m class with Call Me de Muze Z (s. Clarissimo Z). Moreover, Kevin Jochems and Flying Jackie (s. Nabab de Rêve) took fifth place in a 1.50m class and there were placings at 1.40m level for Giorgia de Lorenzi riding Opium Ter Wilgen (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Kevin Jochems riding Looks Good de Liebri Z (s. Lector vd Bisschop).

Doha

At the five-star competition in Doha, Olga van de Kruishoeve (s. El Torreo de Muze) jumped to yet another win under Simon Delestre.

Sharjah

In Sharjah (CSI5*), Sophie Hinners and Special Life (s. I'm Special de Muze) were third in a 1.55m class and fifth in a 1.45m class. The same rider finished fifth over 1.50m in the saddle of Helwell du Chabus (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

Valencia

Alexa Ferrer and Naiade d'Elsendam (s. Nabab de Rêve) made their mark in the Valencia GP3* with fourth place. Earlier, they also finished fifth in a ranking class. Julien Gonin and Girl Queen du Forezan (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) grabbed third place over 1.40m.

Neumünster

In the GP3* of Neumünster, Hilmar Meyer and Orion Ter Doorn (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished a fine third. Gerben Morsink came eighth riding Navarone Z (s. Nabab de Rêve). In a 1.50m class there was a second place for Bas Moerings on Kivinia (s. I'm Special de Muze).

Opglabbeek

The CSI4* at Sentower Park produced placings for Robert Murphy on Hulde G (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Julien Anquetin on Gravity of Greenhill (s. Nabab de Rêve) at 1.50m, as did Meike Zwartjens on Denzel Tivoli Z (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) at 1.40m. In the GP1*, the win went to Seppe Wouters and Qoffiekoek de Muze (s. Mosito van het Hellehof).

San Giovanni in Marignano

Emiliano Liberati finished fourth in a ranking class on Aruba Island (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) at the CSI3* at San Giovanni in Marignano. In several 1.40m classes there were placings for Nico Lupino on Next Twist van 't Ruytershof (s. Gemini xx) and Christian Marini on Elcendila PS (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

Wellington

Only one clear round in the GP3* at the Wellington Equestrian Festival. So the fast four-faulters, including Lucas Porter riding Vigakata (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Abigail McArdle riding Olympia van het Eikenhof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) were able to take home some prize money. Ashley Vogel and Bellissimo Z (s. Bamako de Muze) came second in a 1.45m class. Laura Kraut and Picco Bello v/h Panishof (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) were in fourth place.

Royan

In Royan, France, Nicolas Layec jumped to ninth place in the GP2* with Fee de Caryan (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles), after they had also previously finished fifth in a 1.40m class. Matteo Checchi won a ranking class in the saddle of Navira (s. Nabab de Rêve).

San Miguel de Allende

Finally, Agustin Covarrubias and Full Option du Bourget (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) were up for grabs in Mexico's San Miguel de Allende. They finished fifth in the 1.45m and fourth in the 1.40m.
