Navajo takes the win in Bornival

Our only eight-year-old future star Navajo van 't Vianahof and Koen Vereecke made quite the impression last weekend at the CSIYH in Bornival. They finished with two clear rounds and a win in the final.

Quickly v/d Kruishoeve also confirmed his potential. He jumped two days clear in the 5- and 6-year-olds competition. This resulted in a seventh place in the final.

Also in Bornival, Maxime Harmegnies jumped to third place in a ranking class 1.45m riding Lester (s. Elvis Ter Putte). In the GP there was a ninth place for Benny Naessens on Mistral van de Vogelzang (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

Mithras de Regor is slowly getting ready for the big sport. In Lier, he jumped to a third place in a 1.50m class with Guy Beyers. Missouri van 't Ruytershof (s. Bamako de Muze) is from the same year and is making great progress. With Pilar Lucrecia Cordon he was 5th in the same class. In one of the 1.40m-classes, Max Sebrechts became second with Lady Optima (s. Nabab de Rêve).

At the GCT/GCL Berlin, Jérôme Guery took fifth place in a 1.55m class riding Australia (ex-Great Britain V, s. Nabab de Rêve). Vida Loca Della Marca (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Agustin Covarrubias also showed themselves. They gained a third and a fifth place in two classes 1.45m.

The offspring of Nabab de Rêve was celebratory in Warsaw. Piergorgio Bucci rode Naiade d'Elsendam Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) to second place in a 1.50m class. Wojciech Wojcianiec and Naccord Melloni (s. Nabab de Rêve) finished in fourth place. The latter duo also took second place in another 1.50m class.

In Samorin the offspring of Nabab de Rêve demonstrated as well. Navarone Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) jumped to second place in the GP with Gerben Morsink in the saddle. Taizo Sugitani and Heroine de Muze (s. Tinka's Boy) finished fourth. Navarone Z was also good for a third place in a 1.50m class. In the latter class, Angelica Canonici was fourth with the only 8-year-old Vertigo Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).

Youth championships

Of course, we cannot forget about the youth championships that were held last week in Vilamoura. Nabab de Rêve made it unique. In the Juniors category, he provided the numbers two, three and four in the final (individual) ranking. Tristan Guisson and Naturelle vh Legitahof Z finished in second place, Aurelia Guisson and No Limit vh Legita Hof in third and Alice Laine and Emerald Sitte in fourth.

To round off our weekly news bulletin, we would like to highlight the third place of Siebe Kramer and Nebraska de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve) in Kronenberg (1.40m). Robert Whitaker and I'm Special Too (s. I'm Special de Muze) finished fifth in Hickstead (1.40m). Finally in Megève, Marie Hecart jumped to fourth place at the same level on Nickel de la Roque (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
