Excellent results by Elvis ter Putte-offspring in the final rankings of the Cycle

STX Cycle

With the ninth and last leg in Gesves, the STX Cycle, edition 2018, has been completed last weekend. The final rankings gave some fine results for the progeny of Elvis ter Putte. In the competition for five-year-olds, his sire qualities stood out thanks to two ex-aequo fifth places, namely Ngorongoro d’Arsouilles (Geoffrey Geerts) and Narcis Vhl (Lauren D’hondt). In the classes for six-year-olds, it was Mithras de Regor (by Imogen de Regor (f. Darco) and then back to Qerly Chin) that upheld his fathers’ honour by finishing seventh. Mithras is ridden by Guy Beyers.

In the youngest category, the four-year-olds, Stal de Muze had some success as well thanks to the ex-aequo third place of Disco van het Harteveld Z (f. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof). Danny Van Es is Disco’s rider.

Bamako

Not only Elvis’ offspring, but also Bamako’s sons and daughters did well last weekend. In Fontainebleau, the LR 1.45m ranking class was won by Elize and Aymeric de Ponnat. Natil and Ramzy Hamad Al Duhami contributed also by jumping clear three days in a row in the classes for five-year-olds in Samorin.

Aachen

Some more promising talent in the Aachener Youngster Tour, won by Lorenzo de Luca and Evita van ‘t Zoggehof. Evita is by Golden Hawk (ex-Figo de Muze) out of the mare Anais Anais de Muze. Golden Hawk was active himself last weekend. With Irish rider Shane Breen, he became second in a 1.45m-class in Ascona. The second place in the Aachener Youngster Tour could also be traced back to Stal de Muze. Killer Queen VDM (f. Eldorado van de Zeshoek) is after all bred out of our mare Derly Chin de Muze.

Opglabbeek

As usual, there was some great jumping to admire at Sentower Park, Opglabbeek. Take Karel Cox and Libelle de Muze (f. Elvis ter Putte) for example in the classes for seven-year-olds or her half-brother Excalibur Sr Z (f. Elvis ter Putte, Jan Maly) in the classes for five-year-olds. The latter made no mistakes during three days of competition and topped it off with a fine third place in the final. In that same final, Noortje van de Windheuvel (f. Farfelu de Muze) and You Zhang became second.

Hocus Pocus Nabab

Hocus Pocus de Muze (f. Tinka’s Boy) is already a little more experienced. With Lisa Nooren, the tiny gelding jumped to a fourth place over 1.45m in La Coruna. Some Nabab-progeny showed their class as well, especially in Samorin with a fifth place for Lars Nieberg and Nabab de Revel (1.45m) and a third place for Dakar with Russian rider Egor Shchibrik (1.45m). Casting du Bois Madame completes this week’s overview thanks to her second place in the LR class in Opglabbeek, ridden by Chinese rider You Zhang.
