Quinoa at it again

Koen and Quinoa de la Linière (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) were in top form at the CSIO3* in Lier. They won the team competition with the Belgian team and produced a double clear round. The Czech team finished third, thanks in part to Sara Vingralkova and Rock’n Roll MxL (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof). Italy came fifth, with Giampiero Garofalo and Querido van ’t Ruytershof (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) in their ranks.

At the 1.40m level, we noted podium places for, among others, Dylan Levallois with Istok DKS (s. Nabab de Rêve), Theodor Linde with Mad Max (s. I’m Special de Muze), Kendra Claricia Brinkop with Que Passa de Regor (s. Scendro), Thibeau Spits with Gin Flip de Muze Z (s. Gino H) and Marriët Smit-Hoekstra with Poker de Mariposa TN (s. Nabab de Rêve).

Lido di Camaiore

Jérôme Guery and Qartouche de la Pomme d’Or (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) finished third in the GP5* at Lido di Camaiore. Earlier, they had also finished second in the 1.45m class. Marie Eder Ferrero and Quesera de Muze (s. Fantomas de Muze) secured fifth place in a 1.45m class.

Bourg-en-Bresse

Julien Epaillard and Le Coultre de Muze won a class for the second week running, this time at 1.55m level at the CSI4* in Bourg-en-Bresse. In the same class, Gudrun Patteet took sixth place with Sea Coast Qarvaljo d’Or (s. Mosito van het Hellehof), just ahead of Romain Duguet on Hunger Games du Champ du Bois (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Benoit Cernin, meanwhile, won a 1.50m class riding Dynamite du Miral (s. Nabab de Rêve). At 1.40m level, Thomas De Wit secured a prize-winning finish with Ice Twin Girl DW Z (s. I’m Special de Muze).

In the GP2*, Nicolas Cizeron shone on L’Ariello van de Zuurhaege (s. Lector vd Bisschop) with a third-place finish. Lucas Fournier took seventh place riding Gellina de Riverland (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles).

Lexington

In Lexington, Sloane Coles raced to fourth place in the GP3* with Ninja JW van de Moerhoeve (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Scoop de Septon Z (s. Scendro) finished sixth under Luis Sabino Gonçalves, having also taken fourth place over 1.45m. Luis Pedro Biraben and Vasco 109 (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) came in ninth place.

Drammen

The GP2* in Drammen was won by Amalie Hegre and O’Vigolon van het Weidse Hof (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Fourth place went to Jacob Hellström with Pronto van de Maltahoeve (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof). The same rider also secured placings at 1.40m level with the same horse, as well as with Felicitas (s. I’m Special de Muze).

Nîmes

In the GP2* of Nîmes, Vincent Temime rode Billy Houston DH Z (s. Bamako de Muze) to tenth place. Jessie Fournel, meanwhile, won a ranking class with Handiamo de la Cense (s. Malito de Rêve). Margot Chabanne finished in the top two twice at 1.40m level riding Forever du Givre (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Brice Grugeon and Do It de Clamens (s. Malito de Rêve) also performed well.

Busto Arsizio

Massimo Fiocchi and Jaden WP (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof) took fifth place in the GP2* at Busto Arsizio. Elia Simonetti won a 1.40m class riding Call Me de Muze Z (s. Clarissimo Z).

Kronenberg

Top placings at 1.45m level in Kronenberg went to Vani Khosla with Nerio de la Haute Bruyères (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Sophie Scott with Normandy GHP (s. Nabab de Rêve). Neal Vanderwegen and Brilliant D&E Z (s. Bamako de Muze) finished second at 1.40m level.

Samobor

The GP2* at Samobor saw Zoltan Czékus finish tenth with Vakachuka (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Savannah Birk and Nantan 3 (s. Nabab de Rêve) took fourth place in a ranking class.

Other

In the GP3* at North Salem, Maggie McAlary took eighth place riding Indian Quality Z (s. I’m Special de Muze). A descendant of I’m Special de Muze also made an impression at Le Touquet. Dylan Ringot and Oakley Ter Wijnen finished third in a 1.50m class. Ganele de Rie Z (s. Gino H) and Paraic Kenny impressed with a fifth-place finish in the GP2* of Riesenbeck. Finally, Zoe Potter and Loma de Rêve L.H (s. Malito de Rêve) performed well in the CSI2* at Bevern, securing tenth place in the Grand Prix and fourth place over 1.40m.
