Messi van't Ruytershof is a son of Plot Blue out of a dam by For Pleasure. Messi is jumping with Kurt De Clercq & Anneke Vervoort in the young horse classes. At the age of 4, Messi jumped to victory in the Belgian championship in Gesves. As a 5 year old, he won the national cycle for the young horses and he was a finalist at the Belgian Championships in Gesves as well as at the World Championships in Lanaken. Messi stems from the same dam line as Emerald & Kentucky van 't Ruytershof (H. Smolders), Missouri van ‘t Ruytershof and Diamanthina van 't Ruytershof (C. Van Paesschen).
