I’m Special de Muze offspring excels in Lanaken

World Championships

Amazing results by the progeny of our stallions at the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken. Several descendants were able to reach the final in their respective age categories. A special mention for the offspring of I’m Special de Muze, who confirmed their potential. In the championship for five-year-olds, I’m Specialized (mf. Commanchi) and Piet Raijmakers Jr almost reached the podium, but eventually they had to settle for the fourth place. Harm Lahde and Oak Grove’s I’m The One (mf. Lupicor) also qualified for the final jump-off and became fourteenth. No Limit vd Legita Hof Z (f. Nabab de Rêve) and Alexander Liefsoens ultimately ended in the thirteenth spot.

In the final voor six-year-olds, another impressive son of I’m Special de Muze qualified for the jump-off. We are of course talking about the reigning Belgian champion Mr. Jones, ridden by Stef Bossaerts. In the end, they became sixteenth. Nabab de Rêve also had a disciple in the final with Cheyenne de la Violle (Eric Lelièvre). Mako de Laubry (f. Bamako de Muze, Thibaut Huyvaert), Final Shot PL (f. Filou de Muze, Filippo Lupis) and Houdini van de Dijk (f. Vigo d’Arsouilles, Valentijn De Bock) were equally present in the final for six-year-olds.

The highest category, for seven-year-olds, brought some success for Libelle de Muze (Elvis Ter Putte x Bamako de Muze) with Karel Cox and for Vinci d’Arsouilles Z (f. Vigo d’Arsouilles) with Julia Gorski. Both duos reached the final.

Consolation

Some nice performances were noted in the consolation classes as well. Ipsthar (f. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof) became second in the consolation class for five-year-olds, ridden by Bas Moerings, while Valdes Vk Z (f. Vigo d’Arsouilles) and Steven Van Meersche became tenth.

In the consolation class for six-year-olds, the most notable performance was the fourth place of Memphis vd Vaart (f. Elvis Ter Putte) and Max Routledge. Some nice placings were gained by Geisha des Sequoias (f. Bamako de Muze, Odile Gierech), Bono Ter Linden (f. Bamako de Muze, Axel Vandoorne) and Feromas van Beek Z (f. Fantomas de Muze, Stijn Baert). Finally, Harm Lahde and Oak Grove’s Laith (f. Glock’s London, ex-Carembar de Muze) held our name high in the consolation class for seven-year-olds.

Sires of the World

During the World Championships, there is also the Sires of the World. This year’s most remarkable performance was due by Iceman de Muze and Dayro Arroyave. The only recently formed duo became eight.

Other news

There was not only jumping competition in Lanaken. Italian La Bagnaia was the scenery for the GP-victory of Giulia Levi and Van Dutch Z. At the same place, Paolo Adorno and Fer Z.G. (f. Nabab de Rêve) became third in a 1.45m-class. Last but not least, Hocus Pocus de Muze (f. Tinka’s Boy) and Lisa Nooren were performing splendidly in Mâcon-Chaintré by finishing second in a 1.45m-class.
