Eddy Wally has an appealing name. This colourful stallion was born in 2004 and approved for the AES studbook in 2007. In 2011 the approval for the BWP studbook followed.

Eddy Wally unites in his pedigree the very best jumping blood. His sire Querlybet Hero needs little introduction, but also on his dam's side he comes from a good lineage. His mother, the mare Vene Vidi Veci, is a daughter of Landetto and is the full sister of the BWP-USA approved stallion Socrates. Courteney, a half sister of Eddy Wally, also gave the top show jumpers Gucci DV and Kriskras DV.

Eddy Wally himself did well in the sport. As a 4-year old, he finished third in the young horses final at the Golden Horse Trophy 2007-2008. After a short career as a showjumper, Eddy Wally made the switch to eventing, where he was active at 4*-level with Melanie Valckx. His offspring are not (yet) very numerous, but they stand out because of their colour and jumping talent.
