Sons of Vigo and Kasanova shine in GP5*

The GP5* in Mexico's San Miguel de Allende yielded third place for Henrik von Eckermann and his new trump Minute Man (ex-O'Neill van ‘t Eigenlo, s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). H5 Origi Horta (s. Kasanova de la Pomme) finished fourth under Carlos Hank Guerreiro. Sergio Alvarez Moya and Brazilia DK (s. By Cera d'Ick) confirmed their progression of the past few weeks with fourth place in a 1.50m class.

Valencia

Victor Bettendorf and Doha de Riverland (s. Nabab de Rêve) grabbed second place in the Valencia GP3*. This duo was in great form all week as they also won a ranking class, just ahead of Alexa Ferrer with Vitalhorse Naiade d'Elsendam Z (s. Nabab de Rêve), and came third in a 1.45m class. The same Victor Bettendorf piloted Eagle Eye de la Roque (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) to second place in a 1.40m class.

Birmingham

Fulldollar de Raygade is the next descendant of El Torreo de Muze to be on the verge of the breakthrough. With Julien Anquetin in the saddle, the 9-year-old mare won a 1.45m class in Birmingham. For William Whitaker and Active Spirit (ex-Plathina van ‘t Ruytershof, s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) there was third place over 1.45m.

Gorla Minore

In Gorla Minore, victory in the GP3* went to Emiliano Liberati on Aruba Island (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Stal de Muze was well represented in the top five with also a third place for Mariano Ossa riding Elton van het Exelhof Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and a fourth place for Giacomo Casadei riding Marbella du Chabli (s. Elvis Ter Putte). The latter also took fourth prize money in a 1.40m class. Close placings were also achieved by Giulia Martinengo Marquet with Pina van de Moerhoeve (s. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof) over 1.50m and Franck Goubard with Ionella Il Mondo Z (s. I'm Special de Muze) over 1.40m.

Oliva

Enrico de la Pomme (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) shone with a win in a ranking class and third place over 1.45m in Oliva under Kendra Claricia Brinkop. Monks I Am Casall (s. I'm Special de Muze) finished third in a ranking class ridden by Graham Babes. In several 1.40m classes (both CSI1* and CSI3*) there were top five placings for Kendra Claricia Brinkop with Eau de Vie Jeleena Dr Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte), Christoph Könemann with Dreamliner (s. I'm Special de Muze), Mia Mannis with Niagara de Muze Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) and Valentine Petit-Jean with Patchouli de Muze Z (s. Ponsee V).

Other

The GP3* of Mill Spring yielded a seventh place for Francisco Goyoaga Mollet and PST de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles), after they also finished fifth in a 1.45m class. At the CSI2* in Lier, Only Special van Dobby-Home (s. I'm Special de Muze, Gianni Govoni) and Noblesse vd Mespel Z (s. Nabab de Rêve, Lorenzo de Luca) were in the top five at 1.40m level. Also over 1.40m, Jos Verlooy and Nero ‘P’ (s. I'm Special de Muze) finished second in Beijing and Kamil Papousek won in San Giovanni in Marignano riding Izzabella (s. I'm Special de Muze).
