The third week of the MET in Oliva yielded a top ten placing for Koen riding Lector vd Bisschop in the GP and a third place in a 1.45m class. With Quinoa de la Linière (s. Mosito van het Hellehof), he came second in a ranking class. In total, Koen and Quinoa competed in nine classes in Oliva over the past three weeks and nine times they came through the finish line clear. A promising start to 2025. Our 6-year-old stallions Tellini van ‘t Ruytershof and True Colors de la Linière also showed their best side.
The win in the GP went to Jérôme Guery on Great Britain V (s. Nabab de Rêve). Furthermore, two descendants of Vigo d'Arsouilles finished in the top ten with Vamos de la Pomme d'Or Z (Bart Jay Junior Vandecasteele) in third and Olympke van ‘t Merelsnest (Petronella Andersson) in sixth place. The latter duo also came second in a ranking class. There were additional placings at level 1.40m-1.45m for Massimo Fiocchi on Jaden WP (s. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof), Louise Ameeuw on Orphy van de Kruishoeve (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Nicolas Delmotte on both Fein Lotta DK (s. S. Cera d'Ick) and Kalippo van de Wolfsakker (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof).
Not only did Lector himself shone, but his offspring also impressed. His son Remus de Mariposa, for example, won the GP1* under Jérôme Guery. Niels Bruynseels piloted Qoreen van ‘t Ruytershof (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) to fourth place. Petronella Andersson and Ollister du Lys (s. Scendro) finished tenth.
