Qonquest de Rigo (s. Fantomas de Muze) jumped to a magnificent fifth place in the demanding GP5* at La Baule last weekend, ridden by Bertram Allen. In Saturday’s main class, Shane Sweetnam finished fifth riding Pia Maria H (s. Kasanova de la Pomme). Le Coultre de Muze (s. Presley Boy, ridden by Julien Epaillard) and Pepita van ‘t Meulenhof BR (s. El Torreo de Muze, ridden by Daniel Deusser) achieved top placings at 1.50m level. Gaëtan Joliat won a 1.45m class with Scarlina de Tiji Z (s. Scendro).

Calgary

For the second week running, Nixon van ’t Meulenhof (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof) made a name for himself at Spruce Meadows under Jos Verlooy. They finished second in the GP5*. Nicole Walker rode Panter JVH (s. Le Blue Diamond van ‘t Ruytershof) to tenth place. In the two-star classes, Lucy Deslauriers finished fifth on Starlet (formerly Gliludium Riverland, s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) over 1.40m.

Drammen

Amelie Gachoud and Lancaster (s. Fantomas de Muze) excelled at the CSIO3* in Drammen. They achieved a double clear round in the Nations Cup and also secured sixth place in the Grand Prix. Emanuele Massimiliano Bianchi and Elton van het Exelhof Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished ninth in the Grand Prix. At 1.40m level (both CSIO3* and CSI1*), Amalie Hegre with O’Vigolon van het Weidse Hof (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles), Henk van de Pol with Evry vd Verbindingshoeve Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte), Mike Van Olst with Quintana van ’t Klavertje Vier (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) and Liesje Vrolijk with Liesje Vive (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) took centre stage.

Lichtenvoorde

At Outdoor Gelderland, Karim Elzoghby secured a top placing in the GP3* on Hashtag des Mets (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles), having previously also finished among the frontrunners at 1.50m level. Marriët Smit-Hoekstra rode Poker de Mariposa TN (s. Nabab de Rêve) to second place in a ranking class. In the 1.40m classes, Willem Greve and Barones de Jolie Z (s. Bamako de Muze) achieved some excellent results.

Bedizzole

Paolo Adamo Zuvadelli and SM Moses CH (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) took second place in a 1.45m class in Bedizzole. Elia Simonetti won a 1.40m class riding Call Me de Muze Z (s. Clarissimo Z).

Kronenberg

The GP2* at Kronenberg saw Tobias Luikens and Quartz van ’t Ruytershof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finish in ninth place. They finished just ahead of John Steeghs on Didam van ’t Schaaphof Z (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof). Enno Klaphake made his mark with several placings at 1.40m–1.45m level, riding NC Verso Red Wine (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles).

Other

At the CSI4* in Williamsburg, Lacey Gilbertson and Belle Amie vd Dassenheide Z (s. Bamako de Muze) secured some great results, including a sixth place in the Grand Prix. Dylan Ringot rode Oakley Ter Wijnen (s. I’m Special de Muze) to fifth place in a 1.50m class in Sopot. The GP2* in St. Tropez yielded a sixth-place finish for Vani Khosla riding Nerio de la Haute Bruyères. In the GP2* at Puebla, Rafael Rodríguez Isasa achieved the same result with Frima de Vains (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Finally, Hugh Turner (Nova Scotia Z, s. Nabab de Rêve) and Dominika Gaalova (Quarz du Cœur des Collines, s. Mosito van het Hellehof) made their mark at 1.40m level in Lexington and Zagreb respectively.
