Daniel Deusser and Pepita van ’t Meulenhof (s. El Torreo de Muze) were in top shape at the CSI5* in Riesenbeck. They finished second in the Grand Prix. Henrik von Eckermann and Minute Man (formerly O’Neill van ’t Eigenlo, s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) came fifth. Bertram Allen raced to second place in a 1.60m class on Qonquest de Rigo (s. Fantomas de Muze). Over 1.55m, Victor Bettendorf claimed victory in the saddle of Qwando van de Rispen (s. Matisse de Mariposa). In the same class, Gudrun Patteet finished fifth riding Sea Coast Qarvaljo d’Or (s. Mosito van het Hellehof). Caroline Rehoff Pedersen had Polonis L (s. Le Blue Diamond van ‘t Ruytershof) jumping well, securing fifth place over 1.50m and third place at 1.45m level.

In the CSI3* classes, Janika Sprunger took third place in a ranking class with Victory Music Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). At CSI2* level, Lucas Porter and Vigakata (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) secured third place in a 1.40m class.

Samorin

The GP3* in Samorin, Slovakia, saw Dominika Gaalova finish eighth riding Quarz du Coeur des Collines (s. Mosito van het Hellehof). David Will raced to fourth place at 1.50m level with DSP King George (s. Kasanova de la Pomme). In the GP1*, Faleh Suwaed Al Ajami finished tenth on Reflex van ’t Ruytershof (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof).

Ocala

Shane Wordley rode Brin d’Or de Haute Melen Z (s. Bamako de Muze) to fifth place in the GP3* at Ocala. Earlier, they had also secured fourth place in a 1.45m class.

Kronenberg

In Kronenberg, Seppe Wouters and Qoffiekoek de Muze (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) took fifth place at 1.45m level. João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes De Lima secured third place at the same level and also won a 1.40m class, both riding Sagan Z (s. Scendro). Axel Vandoorne came third over 1.40m with S&L Petruska vd Bisschop (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof).

Zuidwolde

Bas Moerings and Kivinia (s. I’m Special de Muze) claimed victory in a 1.45m class in Zuidwolde. In the 1.40m classes, both Marriet Smit-Hoekstra on Poker de Mariposa TN (s. Nabab de Rêve) and Kevin Beerse on Nobel JTL (s. Elvis Ter Putte) stood out.

North America

There were also a number of competitions in the US that yielded good results. At Mill Spring, David Blake took third place in a 1.50m class with Gucci des Embruns (s. Malito de Rêve). In the GP3* at Saugerties, both Supersox Ter Leydonck (s. Bamako de Muze, McLain Ward) and Indian Quality Z (s. I’m Special de Muze, Maggie McAlary) were among the frontrunners. Lindsey Archer rode Qadim de Regor (s. Bamako de Muze) to fifth place in a ranking class at Woodside.

France

In the GP3* of Megève, Alexa Ferrer took fifth place riding Vitalhorse Naiade d’Elsendam Z (s. Nabab de Rêve). We conclude in Royan, where Brice Grugeon finished eighth in the GP2* on Do It de Clamens (s. Malito de Rêve), just ahead of Nicolas Cizeron on L’Ariello van de Zuurhaege (s. Lector vd Bisschop).
