Stallion competition

After the second phase of the BWP stallion selection, the first leg of the Lannoo Belgian Stallion Competition was on the programme. In the 4-year-olds’ competition, we immediately noted clear rounds for our young talents Uelo de Muze (s. Libero H) and Umbello de Muze (s. Cornet Obolensky), both ridden by Yarno Geeroms. In the 5-year-olds category, True Colors de la Linière (s. Darco) and Tartufo de Muze (s. Chacco-Blue) were clear with Yarno Geeroms and Nick Vrins respectively.

Oilily

A great start to the new year for Koen and Oilily de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). In Oliva, they jumped to second place in the GP2*. They only had to let Scott Brash and Hello Mr President go ahead. Alice Janout and Esprit d'Intro Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished in sixth place. Virginie Thonon and the only 9-year-old Pecorino de la Linière (s. Bamako de Muze) showed their class with two third places over 1.45m. The GP1* was won by Jérôme Guery riding Jyrado vh Bovenhoekshof (s. By Cera d'Ick).

Doha

In Qatar, Olga van de Kruishoeve (s. El Torreo de Muze) started 2024 the way she ended 2023: with a win. Under Simon Delestre, she won a 1.50m class and also came second in another class over the same height. Nadja Peter Steiner and Harry KM (s. Scendro) signed for third place in a 1.45m class.

Basel

A fourth and a fifth place for offspring of our stallions at the CSI5* in Basel. Both Viper Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles, Martin Fuchs) and Funky Fred vh Marienshof (s. Fantomas de Muze, Lars Kersten) made their mark.

Abu Dhabi

Also in the Middle East, in Abu Dhabi, Donald Whitaker and Nikita du Roton (s. Elvis Ter Putte) jumped to fifth place in a 1.45m class at four-star level. In the CSI2* classes, we noted a third place for Sophie Hinners riding Special Life (s. I'm Special de Muze).
