Offspring Mosito and El Torreo impress at Belgian Championships

Mosito's oldest crop is now 7 years old and impressed at the Belgian Championship for 7-year-olds last weekend. First of all, silver went to our own breeding product Qnokke de Muze under Olivier Philippaerts. By the way, Qnokke is the half-brother to our promising young stallion Kept Secret de l'Amitié Z. Both are out of the mare Elle Flip de Muze Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Furthermore, we also saw Quipou SW in the jump-off. Under Anthony Wellens, this gelding eventually finished ninth. The third Mosito offspring in the final was Qoreen van 't Ruytershof under Nick Vrins.

The offspring of El Torreo also made their mark. His daughter Exellentia Z did not make a single fault over the entire championship, including the jump-off, and fell just short of the podium under Joris Vergauwen in fourth place. Quel Torreo T (Kim Thiry) also made it to the final.

Also in the final, we saw offspring of Elvis Ter Putte (Eau de Vie Jeleena Dr Z, Dyllan de Rijcke & Quiero, Matthias Hens), Nabab de Rêve (Nobel van de Vrombautshoeve Z, Ludo Philippaerts), Denzel van 't Meulenhof (Quinta van HD, Kris Christiaens), Vigo d'Arsouilles (Kaliopée du Saint-Chêne, Pascal van Laethem) and Fantomas de Muze (Quesera de Muze, Pascale Haep), as well as our breeding product Top Secret de Muze Z (s. Tornedo FCS, Katrijn Van Hoecke).

Opglabbeek

Lector vd Bisschop and Koen, meanwhile, continued their run of top performances. At the CSI3* in Opglabbeek, they were again almost unbeatable at the front. In both the GP and the qualifier, they finished fifth. In the GP, Elton van het Exelhof Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished third under Mariano Ossa. The sons of Fantomas de Muze did well in the 1.40m classes with a win for King Kong van 't Valissenhof (Filippa Enmark) and third place for Owen van den Blauwaert (Evan Coluccio).

In the young horse classes, our 5-year-old Special Star de Corlato continued his development with a fine double clear round in the final under Koen.

St Lô

At the CSI3* of St Lô, Hoover won a class with Julien Epaillard in the saddle. In the GP2*, Steve Guerdat jumped to place five with his new trump card Iashin Sitte (s. Bamako de Muze). Nicolas Layec and Fee de Caryan (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) closed in on place eight. Over 1.40m there were some places of honour for Nadja Peter Steiner and Harry KM (s. Scendro).

Lier

The GP2* in Lier was won by H5 Origi Horta, a product of the first crop of Kasanova de la Pomme, under the saddle of Eduardo Pereira de Menezes. Obama de la Linière and Thibault Philippaerts finished nicely seventh. Petronella Andersson and Olilia vd Bisschop (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) came second in a 1.40m class. Bernardo Alves and Vigo's Flip de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) won a 1.35m class.

Other

Gerben Morsink and Navarone Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) finished third in the GP4* of Pinneberg. In the World Cup leg of Szilvasvarad, Andras Kovy Jr jumped to eighth place on Egano van 't Wingerdhof (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

Across the Atlantic, Amy Millar piloted the 9-year-old GCS Athena (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) to fifth place in the Williamsburg GP2*. Nicolas Bayzelon and Ella van de Helle (s. Nabab de Rêve) finished fourth in the Bromont GP2*.
